2022 BMS Coaches
Our goal has always been to work hard, have fun, and encourage every athlete to do their best!
Mrs. Kim Kincaid will be in her 11th year as a head coach for Bremen. Kincaid was 3-time state qualifier in high school and still holds the 200m and 400m records for Bremen High School as well as the 100m and 200m records for Bremen Middle School. She graduated from Bremen High School in 1998 and ran division I track at Indiana State University, focusing on sprints and hurdles. She started coaching high school track at Bremen in 2003 and took over distance training 2 years later. Kincaid was the head coach for the high school track team and assistant cross country coach for 7 years before handing the programs over to Mark Yoder and Eric Hudson to stay at home while her children were young. At the time she stopped coaching, Kincaid had coached athletes to hold 22 of our 32 school records, including distance runners Hope Jordan and Kelsey Nielsen, who placed 2nd at the state track meet her senior year. Her and her husband, Travis, have 4 children (Luke, Emma, Jack, and Kate) that go to school in 7th, 9th, and 10th grades at Bremen. Kincaid now teaches 8th grade science at Bremen in addition to coaching. Contact Mrs. Kincaid with any questions.

Mr. Curt Nielsen retired as a financial advisor for Edward Jones and is a very knowledgeable guy! Mr. Nielsen has been a big supporter of Bremen track and cross country ever since his 3 kids ran high school track and cross country with Mrs. Kincaid 15 years ago. His daughter, Kelsey, holds the 3200m record for Bremen High School after placing 2nd in the state track meet with a 10:51 and then went on to run division I at Ball State University. His sons, Austin and Jared, were also strong runners at Bremen with Austin running the mile under 5:00 and the Jared under 6:00. Mr. Nielsen is a big guy with an even bigger heart for kids. He used to push Coach Kincaid’s kids around meets in the stroller, and now that all his kids are grown and have kids of their own, he enjoys watching his grandchildren in his free time. Mr. Nielsen is no longer going to be a volunteer coach, but you may still see and/or hear him cheering at some meets this year.
